Job description
You will be working on a range of tasks, which will include:
· Advising and assisting clients operating principally in the financial services sector
· Drafting and review of corporate and other commercial agreements
· Set-up of new companies and group structures
· Advising on mergers, acquisitions and dissolution of companies
· Assisting clients dealing with corporate governance issues
· Analysing EU Directives relating to corporate issues
· Advising on compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
· Communicate and negotiate with clients, banks and relevant Government entities
This position provides an excellent personal development opportunity as well as career prospects for the job holder. The successful candidate will form part of the Firm’s Tax team and will report to the department manager/partner. You can expect to learn, get involved, be empowered, innovate and feel first-hand the valid contribution you are making to our clients’ operations.
Qualifications
You are a team player and self-motivated. You have an analytical mind as well as an eye for detail. You are meticulous, organised, possess excellent communication skills and able to work under pressure and on own initiative. You possess excellent English spoken and report writing skills, are computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications. You hold a Doctor of Law Degree and Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in a similar role.
