Julian Abela Tax assistant manager

Julian joined Forvis Mazars in 2017 as an Accounts Assistant focused on record-keeping, the preparation of management accounts as well as the preparation of VAT returns for companies in the gaming, pharmaceutical, hospitality, and financial services sectors. In 2020, Julian joined the Forvis Mazars Tax Team, assisting clients with their statutory fiscal requirements. Promoted to Assistant Manager in 2022, Julian is now currently involved in the provision of Tax and VAT compliance and advisory services to a diverse range of local and international clients. Furthermore, Julian assists clients in members’ voluntary liquidation services.

 Julian is a graduate from the University of Malta in Accountancy and holds a Diploma in Taxation by the Malta Institute of Taxation. Julian is currently reading an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation by the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Julian is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Malta Institute of Taxation. Julian currently forms part of the Malta Institute of Accountants‘ Young Members’ Committee.
