Mazars: Partnership Social Responsibility
In 2011, the Group even reinforced its commitment by actively supporting United Nations´ 31 Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Mazars: respecting the UN´s Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
Mazars in the Czech Republic is fully complying with the 31 Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights officially adopted by the United Nations Human Rights Commission in June 2011. Human rights compliance appears on top of our corporate governance agenda, the diversity issues being one of the key pillars of Mazars Czech Republic social responsibility strategy.
Mazars principle: support local communities
Mazars is taking active part in the life of the local communities. We are regularly and publicly engaged in the society’s most pressing debates ranging from economic issues, such as measuring the impact of the government designed tax reforms on the entrepreneurial environment on the local market, to influential issues highly impacting the society.
Thanks to our involvement within the local communities, we understand the key issues, topics and tangible problems of international communities operating locally. Czech Republic is economically and socially linked to the EU and other foreign markets. That´s why we consider necessary to follow closely the course of events within the framework of international chambers of Commerce, and be actively involved in their activities. Mazars is corporate member of:
- American Chamber of Commerce
- French-Czech Chamber of Commerce
- Czech-German Chamber of Commerce
- Dutch Chamber of Commerce
Issues of the Czech economy´s competitiveness, ethical entrepreneurship, mutally beneficial experience sharing and rigorous application of international standards of our professions are being thought out on the ground of further special-interest associations, such as:
We are also playing a key role in the success of initiatives designed to enhance solidarity and the continuity of ethical values: the transfer of knowledge and education to the NGO sector is one of our main concerns in this area.
