Forvis Mazars is the 2023 Tax Firm of the Year
Prague, 8 February 2024 – The winners have been announced for the 2023 “SLUTO TAX & ACCOUNTING Firm of the Year” awards. The professional jury's votes decided that Forvis Mazars succeeded in one of the main categories and is the 2023 Tax Firm of the Year. Pavel Klein, the Tax Leading Partner, accepted the award on behalf of Forvis Mazars during the awards ceremony on 7 February in the Visionary spaces in Prague - Holešovice.

For us, the award goes to show that our strategy, expertise, emphasis on the education of employees and professional approach to our clients make sense. The first annual “SLUTO TAX & ACCOUNTING Firm of the Year” awards, organised by Wolters Kluwer, combines two successful competitions with many years of tradition, specifically the Tax Advisor & Tax Firm of the Year and the Accountant of the Year. The competition represents a unique opportunity for the recognition and appreciation of professionals who bring innovation and creativity to their field. In addition, it aims to emphasise the mutual interconnection of the tax and accounting professions.
The aim of the competition is to find top tax specialists, important tax and accounting personalities and friendly tax office workplaces in the Czech Republic. The awards have eight categories, some of which are based on nominations and public voting, such as the “Tax Advisor of the Year”, “Accountant of the Year” or “Most Accommodating Workplace of the Tax Office”. Other categories are purely in the hands of the jury, such as “Tax Firm of the Year” or “Accounting Firm of the Year”. In these two new categories, the jury intends to select and award tax and accounting firms for significant innovative achievements in 2023. They could be companies that come up with new approaches or technologies, improve accounting processes, are not afraid to implement bold projects, whether toward customers or their employees, or contribute to the professional public in another form.[1]
The 2023 SLUTO TAX & ACCOUNTING firm of the Year competition is held in partnership with renowned professional organisations, including the Chamber of Certified Accountants of the Czech Republic, the Union of Accountants of the Czech Republic and the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors.
