Mazars strengthens its Tax Department in Bern

Berne, 19 September 2019 – Mazars announces the appointment of Ivo Gut as Partner and strengthens its presence in Bern by creating a tax department.

With the appointment of Ivo Gut, Mazars welcomes an expert in the field of VAT. Ivo Gut and his team thus complete the Bern team, an office opened by Mazars in April 2019.

Ivo Gut graduated in law from the University of Fribourg i. Ue. and is a tax expert in the field of VAT and customs duties. He has more than 28 years of professional experience in the field of taxation, notably at E&Y and KPMG. Ivo Gut is a member of the VAT Advisory Committee of the Federal Council and the VAT Subcommission of EXPERTsuisse and a lecturer at the Swiss Institute of Tax Law for VAT.
