Appointment of four new partners at Mazars in Switzerland
Geneva , 20 October 2023 - Mazars, the international audit, tax and advisory firm, has appointed Ludiwine Arpino, Bastien Rochat, Samuel Romailler and Antonio Rubino as partners. The four new partners work in different areas of the business and are contributing significantly to the firm's sustained growth.
Ludiwine Arpino joined Mazars in Geneva in 2022 as responsible for advising senior management in her areas of expertise: governance, internal audit and IT audit. Certified CISA and CPA, she has worked for ten years in a 'Big Four' company in Atlanta, Paris and Geneva, before heading the internal audit department of a watchmaking group for 15 years. She holds a master's degree in auditing from ICN and an MBA from Georgia Tech, and has completed her training with certifications in Cyber Security, Risk Management (HarvardX), Performance Measurement (HBS) and Data Science (EPFL). She also teaches the IT audit module at HEC Lausanne.
Bastien Rochat, a qualified chartered accountant and specialist in finance and accounting, he joined Mazars 12 years ago. Prior to that, he worked for 7 years in one of the 'Big Four'. He played an important role in developing the accounting advisory and outsourcing department and in setting up the Mazars Lausanne office. After 19 years' experience supporting businesses of all sizes, he has built up a large network of entrepreneurs who have placed their trust in him.
Samuel Romailler joined the company two years ago as head of the Sion office and is in charge of Mazars' development in Valais. An expert in finance and controlling, Samuel was previously Director of Banque Raiffeisen Sion et Région and has a broad knowledge of banking and finance. He is committed to supporting SMEs in Valais and promoting Mazars' value-added services in the canton. Samuel Romailler is also President of the Valaisan association of finance and controlling experts and finance and accounting specialists (ComptaVal) and Vice-President of Pro-Economy VS.
Antonio Rubino has been head of Mazars' financial advisory department in the French-speaking part ofSwitzerland since 2020. An economist by training, Antonio has over 20 years' professional experience, most notably as CEO of the Switcher Textile Group, as a partner in Dimension Corporate Finance and also within a Big Four company. Antonio Rubino is a recognised expert in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, support in transactions involving the purchase or sale of companies, financial valuations and modelling, and due diligence.
