Mazars appointed by Customs Support Group B.V. for a due diligence
September 2023 | Customs Support Group B.V., a leading customs support provider, has acquired Zollimpex AG, a customs clearance service provider based in Switzerland. Mazars was appointed by Customs Support Group B.V. to carry out the financial due diligence on the target.
Zollimpex AG is a customs clearance agency formerly owned by BKM Customs & Consulting AG, which provides professional customs clearance support and consultancy services. The company operates five customs offices in the Basel area. This new acquisition is a further step in Customs Support Group B.V.'s strategy of consolidation and expansion in neighbouring European countries. Previously, in November 2021, Mazars advised the company on the acquisition of Balimpex AG, also active in customs clearance and related services in Basel.
Customs Support Group B.V. involved Mazars' financial advisory team composed of Antonio Rubino, Adrian Randall and Hugo Badina.
