Omise is an online payment gateway solution that provides seamless payment processing for e-commerce merchants, allowing them to accept payment from customers anytime, anywhere. As Omise’s business expanded across the region, multiple charts of accounts needed to be reconciled and consolidated to provide much needed clarity when producing consistent reports in the financial reporting process.

Solution:

Mazars provided recommendations to implement a detailed and cohesive plan to improve Omise’s finance and accounting processes, which included the implementation of a seamless, cloud-based accounting system, from which the teams across Asia could access. This allowed Omise to produce financial reports and data consistently, cutting down on inconsistencies and manual reconciliation of data across the multiple charts of accounts Omise had previously.
