Mazars and JAC Recruitment Seminar for Flood Victims

Mazars Thailand in collaboration with JAC Recruitment presented “A Survival Plan for Corporate Flood Victims” on 9th December 2011 at the Landmark Hotel.

The purpose of the seminar was to provide clients with key information to assist their business to manage the risk and minimise the consequences of the flood.

The seminar was divided into two sessions. In the morning session, our speakers included Hiroki Yamamoto, Japanese Desk Manager, Miyuki Taniguchi, Accounting Manager and Tatsuya Koide, Japanese Desk Director. Our guest speaker was Stuart Baker from Thailand Insurance Service Consultant.

In the afternoon, our speakers were Nareerut Cherdchaikul, Legal Practice Director, Chakkree Soithong, Tax Practice Director and Catherine Saire Barcza, Audit Practice Director joined by Don Sutherland, from the International Recovery Services.

Our speakers provided an overview of the relevant legal and tax regulations and accounting treatments for companies affected by the floods. Further, we provided useful information on how to understand insurance policies and to prepare insurance claims. There was a question and answer session at the end of the seminar.
