Mazars Payroll Flash News - April 2024
On 2 April 2024, the Cabinet approved draft Notification No.13 of the National Wage Committee regarding an increase in the minimum wage to THB 400 a day with effect from 13 April 2024 for workers in the hotel industry if the following criteria are met:
1. the workers are employed at hotels which are rated at four stars or higher according to the star rating system certified by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports; and
2. these hotels have at least 50 employees; and
3. these hotels are located in certain areas of 10 provinces, as set out below:
