Mazars Vietnam announces new leadership appointments

Mazars Vietnam, an international audit, accounting, tax and advisory firm has announced new leadership roles to mark the new financial year 2022/2023.

Nguyen Minh Da (Partner, Tax)

With more than 16 years of professional experience at Mazars and other top accounting firms, Da now becomes Partner for Tax Advisory Service, as part of the whole Advisory Service practice of Mazars in Vietnam. He holds Bachelor of Foreign Trade Economics (International Trade) - Ho Chi Minh Foreign Trade University, Vietnam and Customs Agent Certificate issued by General Department of Customs. He also has Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Australia Certificate and Fellowship status of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Da has supervised and controlled a variety of tax related engagements and advised the clients on practicable solutions.

Nguyen Hoang Yen (Director, Accounting Outsourcing)

Yen has accumulated over 21 years of work experience in auditing, accounting, payroll and taxation services for various industries such as financial services, technology, medical/pharmaceutical, and real estate. She plays a key role in providing a wide range of professional accounting practices to corporate clients, including reviewing internal control system, assisting client in setting up accounting system, assisting operational team on complex technical issues, and acting as chief accountant for clients.

Commenting on her new appointment, Yen said: “This is really a great honor for me, but also a heavy responsibility that the Firm has entrusted me with. For the trust and confidence of the Management team, I will try to contribute to the development of the Firm not only by finding new clients but also by leading and mentoring my team to provide superior customer services. Throughout the years here, I have worked with the rule ‘always put myself in the client's shoes’, so I believe that with my new position, I will contribute to the success of both Mazars Vietnam and Mazars Group”.

Ngo Thi Thanh Nga (Director, Audit & Assurance)

Nga has more than 13 years of experience in external audit at Mazars Vietnam, providing auditing services to multinational corporations as well as local and foreign invested companies operating in Vietnam. Nga involved in numerous assignments in various industries such as manufacturing, consulting, services and logistics. She is a member of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA).

Nga said “I am so thankful for the new position as Director of Audit & Assurance. It is a long journey that marks the efforts to conquer the challenges in the professional industry and opens a new path with many exciting stories awaiting ahead. I'm looking forward to contributing to deliver high-quality and independent services and consistent compliance with the Mazars Group's policies”.
