Forvis Mazars Vietnam continues expansion streak with new leadership appointment

Le Thi Nhung (Partner, Outsourcing) 

Nhung started her professional accounting career more than 20 years ago, including over 18 years working for Forvis Mazars in Vietnam. She is now a Partner of Outsourcing Accounting and Business Advisory, supervising the Accounting & Payroll Team. She plays a key role in providing a wide range of professional accounting practices to corporate clients, including reviewing internal control system, assisting client in setting up internal control system; and advising on the internal controls surrounding the various operations of a company with regards to international best practice. With her in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Vietnamese Accounting Standard (VAS), she has led numerous significant domestic and international projects.  

Reflecting on her extensive journey, Nhung shared: “I am profoundly grateful to Forvis Mazars for acknowledging my unrelenting dedication throughout the past 18 years and entrusting me with this pivotal mandate. In this new role, I yearn to maintain and enhance the quality of our services so that they meet and surpass client expectations and foster and empower a highly skilled, professional, and dynamic team. I am self-assured that this foundation will contribute to the long-term growth and success of Forvis Mazars Vietnam and the Forvis Mazars Group”.  

Doi Thi Bich Hang (Partner, Outsourcing) 

Hang brings over 16 years of experience in professional auditing and accounting, including 11 years of dedication to Forvis Mazars in Vietnam. She is currently the Director of Accounting and Outsourcing, where she oversees the Accounting and Payroll team at Mazars Vietnam. Ms. Hang plays a key role in assisting clients in setting up internal control systems, advising on internal controls related to various business operations in line with international standards, supporting operational teams in resolving complex technical issues, acting as a chief accountant for clients, and reviewing financial statements as well as operational and financial management systems.  

Reflecting on her journey, Hang said: “Reflecting on my 11-year journey with Forvis Mazars Vietnam, I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful for the enthusiastic support of my wonderful colleagues, as well as the guidance, encouragement, and trust from the management team. With the new role entrusted to me by our leadership, I am confident that through our collective efforts, we will continue to grow, achieve new milestones of success, and contribute to the company's development while best meeting the needs of our clients”.  

Dang Phuong Dzung (Partner, Legal services) 

As a registered lawyer, Dzung has over 14 years of extensive experience in investment, corporate law, labor law, real estate, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). She is committed to delivering effective solutions that align business goals with strict regulatory compliance. 

She commented on her new position: “I am deeply honored to take on this new role at a time when Forvis Mazars is experiencing dynamic growth and expansion, aiming to strengthen both our position and brand. This appointment presents a significant challenge, one that I am fully committed to embracing. With my dedication, the trust of the company's leadership, the support of my colleagues, and the collective unity and commitment of the entire organization, I am optimistic about the remarkable growth of our firm in the future.” 

Nguyen Thi Anh Thu (Director, Audit and assurance services) 

Thu graduated from the University of Paris Dauphine, France, one of the leading prestigious schools in economics and management. With over a decade of experience working at Forvis Mazars Vietnam, Thu has demonstrated her expertise in independent auditing, specialising in providing high-quality auditing and accounting services to a wide range of clients, including international companies, multinationals, domestic companies and foreign-invested enterprises operating in Vietnam.  

Currently, Thu is a member of of both the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) and the Australian Association of Certified Public Accountants (CPA Australia) – prestigious organisations that affirm her credibility and professionalism in the field. Throughout her career, Thu has participated in numerous significant audit projects across various industries such as manufacturing, consulting, retail, transportation/logistics, and construction. Reflecting on her professional journey, Thu shared.  

Sharing about her journey, Thu expressed: "I would like to sincerely thank Forvis Mazars for recognising my efforts and dedication throughout the years. This is a great honour for me. In my new role, I am committed to contributing even more to improving the quality of Audit & Assurance Services and contributing to the strong and sustainable development of the Company”.  

Le Thi Hong My (Finance Director)

My has over 18 years of experience with Forvis Mazars Vietnam. She currently serves as the Finance Director at Forvis Mazars. In these roles, she is responsible for all accounting tasks, statistical reporting, and managing the company's primary financial activities.  

She spoke about her new role: “My 18-year journey at Forvis Mazars Vietnam has filled me with immense pride and honor. I am excited to continue contributing and growing alongside the company's success. I sincerely thank my teammates, leaders, and everyone for their unwavering support and trust throughout this journey”.  

Pham Quang Huy (Director, Advisory services) 

Huy currently serves as the Director of Advisory Services. With over 15 years at Forvis Mazars, he has significantly contributed to both international and local tax compliance and advisory services. He has also been actively involved in tax compliance, tax due diligence, tax audit reviews, and tax health check engagements for a diverse range of companies, from large corporations to SMEs, across various industries including IT, manufacturing, financial services, banking, construction, and energy. 

Commenting on the new position, he shared: "I am deeply honored to be appointed to this new position and sincerely thank the Board of Directors for their trust. Leveraging my technical expertise and accumulated experience, I am dedicated to continuing to deliver the most innovative, effective, and appropriate solutions to meet our customers' needs. I believe that building and developing a strong team, where each member can maximize their potential, will be crucial for us to achieve our common goals and create sustainable value for our customers and the company." 

Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa (Director, Advisory services) 
 

With over 13 years of experience in tax advisory, Hoa has been privileged to support international and foreign-invested enterprises in navigating Vietnam’s complex tax landscape. Through a wide range of projects, including tax due diligence, tax restructuring, tax health check, tax audit assistance, etc., Hoa has had the opportunity to collaborate with clients across diverse industries such as energy, healthcare, manufacturing, trading, e-commerce, IT, services, education, and construction.

“Stepping into the role of Tax Director is both a great honor and a significant responsibility. I am deeply grateful for the support, orientation and opportunities I’ve received during my time at Forvis Mazars Vietnam. My goal remains on working collaboratively with our talented team to deliver comprehensive and practical tax solutions, and I look forward to contributing further to our clients' successes and the company’s growth.”
