Mandatory e-invoicing postponed (VAT)
As originally intended, the mandatory KSeF was to go into effect on July 1, 2024.
On January 19, the Polish Ministry of Finance announced that the introduction of KSeF will be postponed due to the discovery of critical errors in the system's code.
As a result, it looks like the e-invoicing obligation will not be introduced before 2025.
A governmental audit of KSeF is currently underway, the results of which are expected to be presented soon. It is also expected to announce the date on which mandatory e-invoicing will go into effect.
