Pakiet nowelizacji ustaw podatkowych zwany „Polskim Ładem” wprowadza systemowe zmiany w opodatkowaniu dochodów osób fizycznych. Z jednej strony zmieni się sposób obliczania składki zdrowotnej płaconej przez przedsiębiorców oraz zniesione zostanie prawo do odliczenia składki zdrowotnej od podatku dochodowego. Z drugiej strony podwyższona została kwota dochodów wolnych od podatku oraz wysokość progu podatkowego, od którego zastosowanie znajduje wyższa stawka podatku dochodowego (32%). Ustawodawca przewidział również cały szereg nowych ulg podatkowych, poczynając od ulgi dla klasy średniej.
