James Byrne & Co is now part of Forvis Mazars

As of 1 September 2024, James Byrne & Co has joined Forvis Mazars, a leading international audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm. 

This merger establishes a new Forvis Mazars practice in Cork, allowing us to offer you a more comprehensive range of services, access to a large network of experts and enhanced capabilities to meet your needs.

Business continues as usual at our Mallow office, which will be led by Marie Kelly, Director, with James Byrne serving as a consultant. Our Blackpool office will relocate to 89/90 South Mall, Cork City at the end of the year. 

The new Forvis Mazars Cork practice will provide a full suite of audit, tax, advisory, and consulting services, bolstered by the appointments of Stephen Gahan as partner, tax, and David Swinburne as partner, financial advisory. The practice will be led by Fiona Byrne, Partner, audit & outsourcing.

Our merger with Forvis Mazars will not affect our existing relationship with you, nor will it change how we deliver our services. You will continue to work with the same team of professionals and receive the high-quality service and personal attention you expect from us.
