Marie Kelly Director, Tax

Marie joined the practice in 2024 as a director in our Mallow office. She trained with IFAC before joining James Byrne & Co, where she spent more than 25 years, and now brings over 30 years of experience as a certified accountant to Forvis Mazars.

Marie works with a diverse range of clients, from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies, with extensive experience in the farming, construction, and medical industries. She has a particular focus on farming clients, specialising in advising on the tax implications of incorporating farming companies and setting up farming partnerships.

Recognised for her expertise, Marie regularly contributes to media discussions on accountancy and tax issues affecting the farming and agricultural sectors. As a farmer herself, she is acutely aware of the everyday challenges farmers face.

Marie is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA).
