Now in its second year, the Irish Investor Awards, in association with Forvis Mazars, proudly returns to celebrate the achievements of Ireland's venture capital and private equity community. Building on the success of its inaugural year, the 2025 event will highlight the pivotal role investors play in shaping the Irish SME landscape and driving economic innovation.

The Irish Investor Awards provide a unique platform to honour the outstanding contributions of individuals and firms that enable growth, create jobs and support Ireland’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The event will spotlight firms demonstrating exceptional investment strategies, impactful mentorship and a commitment to sustainability and long-term success.

Speaking at the launch of the 2025 awards, John Bowe, Corporate Finance Partner at Forvis Mazars said, "Ireland’s private equity and venture capital firms are catalysts for growth and innovation, providing vital funding, contacts and strategic guidance to SMEs. Being named a finalist at the Irish Investor Awards is more than just an accolade – it is an opportunity to network with peers, establish valuable connections, and showcase your achievements before a distinguished audience of industry leaders.

Applications for the 2025 awards close on 28 February 2025. Companies and individuals can submit their entries via the online form available on the official awards website, with winners to be revealed during a gala ceremony in the historic Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin, on Friday, 9 May 2025.

The awards will be judged by a panel of industry professionals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a thorough, unbiased evaluation process. Their collective expertise guarantees that each nominee is assessed with precision and care, celebrating the unique contributions and accomplishments of every finalist.

About the 2024 Irish Investor Awards

Over 400 finalists and winners from the Irish investment community and their advisors attended the gala event in the Round Room at the Mansion House on Friday 17 May 2024.

The then Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform and President of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe officially opened the awards. 

The awards covered a broad range of investors and professional services, and the winners were:

  • Debt Funding Deal of the Year over €10m: DunPort Capital Management for funding of Schivo Medical.
  • International PE Investment in Irish Company Deal of the Year: Phoenix Equity Partners for investment in Nostra.
  • Corporate Law Firm Team of the Year: The Maples Group.
  • Corporate Finance Advisory Firm of the Year (Sponsored by Dunport): IBI Corporate Finance Ltd.
  • Environmental, Social and Governance Deal of the Year (Sponsored by Development Capital): Beach Point Capital Ireland for Investment in My Solar.
  • Deal of the Year (Sub €2.5m): Foresight Group for investment in Hospital Services Ltd.
  • Deal of the Year (€2.5m - €10m): Development Capital for investment in Wogan Build Centre.
  • Deal of the Year over €10m category: Inflexion for investment in Village Vets.
  • Due Diligence Team of The Year category: EY.
  • Portfolio Deal of the Year: Renatus for the exit of Boojum.
  • Rising Star Under 30: Aoife McAdam from BGF Ireland.
