Forvis Mazars earns Best Place to Work status in CEE and Central Asia
Best Place to Work in CEE & Central Asia
Around 1,500 people from 16 countries across CEE and Central Asia participated in the survey and shared their experience of working with Forvis Mazars. The participants placed the organisation among their top employers of choice resulting in the firm receiving an 81% certification score.
With over 30 years of experience and research on workplace culture, Best Places to Work is an international HR certification programme providing employers in different countries the opportunity to learn more about the engagement and satisfaction of their employees. Each year, it honours those who deliver an outstanding work experience with the highest standards of working conditions.
”When the idea to pursue the Best Place to Work certification emerged, there was no question we wanted to go for a multinational approach. We involved countries across CEE and Central Asia, and there was no doubt that we would achieve the recognition together, as we all share the same values, respect for people, and commitment to make a positive impact. I’m delighted this is now fully reflected through our new status and confirmed by our people’s experiences”, said Peter Wundsam, CEE Board member.
Top workplace factors assessed and rated
The six core factors recognised were Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), at 86%, Leadership (85%), Team Work and Workplace (84%), HR Practices (82%), and the Benefits packages provided by the company (80%). Commitment from individuals to the organisation and their dedication to the work they do was also highlighted (75%), with 88% confirming they are likely to recommend Forvis Mazars and its services to prospects.
A top strength highlighted in the survey is the overall equality ratio between men and women in terms of growth opportunities, rated at 96%. This was closely followed by diversity and respect for individuality in terms of gender, ethnicity, age, disability, etc. (93%). The way the organisation’s leaders respect and follow employment laws was also rated at a high level, with 90% of the employees endorsing this.
Best HR practices appreciated
From an HR perspective, the top three best practices were Recognition programs, Succession planning (100%), and CSR (93%). Diversity (92%), Gender equity (89%), and Service and customer focus (88%) emerged as the most appreciated topics.
“Putting people first within our organisation has been at the heart of our strategy for as long as we have been active in the market. This accreditation is welcome recognition and reaffirms what is now part of our DNA. Years of nurturing excellence and empowering our professionals to lead with bold spirit have helped us become a great place to work, one that actively shapes the future for us, for our employees, and also our clients throughout the region”, mentioned Yulia Zaprudska, CEE HR Coordinator.
Every year, the programme partners with many organisations across different industries to help them measure, benchmark, improve their HR practices, and have access to the tools and expertise they need to deliver effective and sustainable change in their organisations.
Forvis Mazars is proud to have achieved this certification in CEE and Central Asia, that will be valid until September 2025.
