After 23 years in Big4 firm with significant experience in audit and due diligence services, Michel joined the Mazars São Paulo office in 2014 as a FAS partner. Michel also worked in Miami for 2 years in the transaction practice.
His experience includes deep expertise in leading transactions projects for both local Brazilian Companies and multinationals corporations in the United States, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, South Africa and Europe.
Michel has an extensive experience in Beverage and food (Coca Cola, Brfoods, Ambev, M. Dias Branco); energy (Duke Energy, CPFL, Mitsui Energy and Gas); life science and healthcare (Pfizer, Eurofarma, Aché, Grupo Rede D’OR de Hospitais); logistics (ALL); services and retail (Pão de Açúcar, Lojas Americanas); education (Estácio de Sá, Abril Educação, Grupo SEB, Grupo Anhanguera); information technology (TOTVS, Oki Data) agribusiness (Marubeni, Soljitz); manufacturing (Rexam). Additionally, I was responsible for serving the following private equities: Warburg Pincus, Patria (Blackstone), BTG, 3i, Mercapital, among others.
