Stéphane Pithois joined Mazars in 2009 so as to participate to the reinforcement of the Financial Advisory Services department in the M&A division, in which he runs a team dedicated to the following-up of business leaders, asset management companies, large groups and equity investors in all steps of their merger and acquisition transactions, transfers, and fundraisings.

Stéphane worked in the field of M&A since the beginning of his professional career, in particular at KPMG Corporate Finance from 1995 to 2009. He developed a strong experience in Corporate Finance, including the overall management of a transaction on its whole, namely the strategic analysis, the valuation, the M&A process management, the structuration of the transaction, and the assistance to the negotiation. He took part in over 40 national and transnational transactions.

Stéphane has been involved in operations of transmission in various sectors and on operations of divestitures, in particular for leading French and international groups such Lafarge, Komatsu, Hays, etc.

Stéphane holds a Masters’ Degree at the university Paris-Dauphine, a Bank and Finance DESS from Paris I, and graduated from the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF).
