Mazars has joined the UN Global Compact initiative
Participants of UN Global Compact are obligated to operate in compliance with the UN Global Compact Ten Principles, which take into account the fundamental responsibilities of business in the field of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and which are based on internationally accepted UN declarations and conventions and thus serve as a normative authority for responsible business conduct.
By incorporating the Ten Principles into strategies, policies and procedures, and establishing a culture of integrity, companies not only support their core responsibilities to people and the planet, but also ensure long-term business success.
Mazars is proud to be part of this initiative that aims to secure a better future for our planet and the society, not leaving anyone behind.
Our ESG director Vali Marszalek said: "At Mazars, we work hard to continuously improve the value we deliver to our people, our clients and the society. This is reflected in our global Corporate Sustainability Reporting Strategy that rests on five strategic pillars: integrity & responsibility, people, climate & environment, sustainability services and community. By joining UN Global Compact, we pledge to play an active part in securing a better, more sustainable future for all people and our planet. As a former Executive Director of Global Compact Network Croatia, it makes me very proud to be part of Mazars global community of likeminded people, enthusiasts and professionals who are commited to sustainability and to the creation of shared value for all our stakeholders.
