Forvis Mazars in Mexico expands its leadership team with two new directors

Forvis Mazars, the leading global professional services network, the international audit, tax, and advisory firm, incorporates two new directors in Mexico into its leadership structure.

August 2024. Forvis Mazars in Mexico celebrates the arrival of Alfredo Sedano as director of Legal Services, and Javier Torres as director of Quality.

Both directors joined Forvis Mazars in 2024 in response to the firm's continued growth and the growing demand for services from our many clients.

Montserrat Suárez, Director of Talent Management, commented on these appointments: "It is an opportunity to add new talent, to expand our service offering and to strengthen our internal processes in the pursuit of excellence. The new directors are:

Alfredo Sedano, Director of Legal Services

Alfredo holds a Law degree from Universidad Anáhuac, a master's degree in Business Law from Universidad Panamericana, as well as studies at Universidad del Rosario in Colombia, and over 18 years of experience as a lawyer.

He has had an outstanding career in a various industries, including regional experience in Latin America, having worked in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina.

Arriving to Forvis Mazars represents an achievement and a significant challenge: to establish a new service in Mexico at a firm of a international reputation and relevance. My goal is to consolidate an ethical, professional and effective legal practice that contributes to the growth of Forvis Mazars in Mexico, offering high-quality and effective legal advice to our clients. I am committed to working with a standard of professional and personal excellence that facilitates the development of the full potential of those who are around us.

Alfredo's arrival marks an important step for the firm as it opens a new legal services practice aimed at meeting the needs of our clients.

Javier Torres, Director of Quality

Javier is an Industrial and Systems Engineer from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and has a degree in Family Business from the Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University and has earned the COSO certificate in Business Risk Management from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).​

He has built an important career in business consulting for over 18 years.
