Forvis Mazars plans India expansion as global merger takes effect
Forvis Mazars, the global tax advisory, audit, and consultancy firm formed after the merger of US-based Forvis and Paris-headquartered Forvis Mazars, plans to increase its headcount in India and enter new areas to expand its local business, a top executive told VCCircle.
Bharat Dhawan, managing partner at Forvis Mazars in India, said the firm aims to scale
up to 5,000 employees in the next five to six years, and the priority would be to invest in
advanced technology to manage this expansion. At present, it has a network of nine offices and more than 1,300 professionals in the country, along with over 55 partners.
