New circular regarding extra time and overtime to ERGANI
The Greek Ministry of Labour published the new circular entitled «Terms and requirements regarding the electronic submission of documents within the competence of Labor Inspectorate Agency (Σ.ΕΠ.Ε.) and Hellenic Manpower Employment Organization (ΟΑΕΔ) in accordance with article 32143/Δ1.11288/2018 of Minister of Labour, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity.
The new circular redefines the submission procedure for all documents to ERGANI website and has as a main point the submission of the new document Ε8_Αναγγελία Υπερεργασίας ή Νόμιμης Υπερωριακής Απασχόλησης, which concerns the mandatory electronic notification of extra time and overtime before their starting as mentioning in article 36 of Law 4488/2017.
The submission process of E8 document starts optionally from July 1st 2018 (there is the option to submit via mobile) and becomes mandatory as from September 1st 2018.
During July and August 2018 there will be a transition phase where the current regime concerning the notification of overtime (filling in the Overtime Book and submission to ERGANI website until the 15th of the next month) remains the same.
