At the beginning of the year, János Lázár expressed his claim that the Swiss banks should make all information available which are suitable for identifying Hungary-related bank accounts with the purpose of involving these amounts in Hungarian taxable incomes. On 12 September the new Hungarian-Swiss Treaty was born, which already contains the regulations for making information available.
The present newsletter of Mazars Hungary investigates among others – according to the wording of the Treaty published on the Parliament’s website – how the government’s preliminary conception of the information exchange was realized.
