Mazars Hungary Tax Newsletter No. 5/2012

On February 16th, the vice-president of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), Dr. Árpád Varga announced the focal points of tax controls carried out by the Adminstration in 2012. The main goal is to broaden the taxpayer base, to filter out tax minimising companies, and to maintain the high level of VAT controls. The purpose of this newsletter is to draw the attention of the companies working in the industries most affected by the audits, so that the possible revisions throughout the year do not come as a surprise.
