G20 Turkey summit. Our contribution to International SMEs
For the third consecutive time, Mazars contributes to the Business 20 (B20) policy proposals for the Group of 20 (G20). In 2013, Mazars contributed to the B20 Russia recommendations regarding the reform of the financial system. In 2014, we were part of the Financing Growth taskforce which focused on developing practical solutions to help accelerate global economic growth. This year we worked on international SMEs to better integrate them into the global economy.

A new report from Mazars, EcoDa and ECGCN highlights some of the issues arising from the diversity of corporate governance codes in the EU states. Launched at the European Commission in Brussels, ‘Corporate governance, compliance and monitoring systems across the EU’ reviews how the ‘comply or explain’ principle is being applied across the EU and the potential for the code to drive further improvements in corporate governance.
