Michael Newton Managing Partner

Michael has more than 20 years of financial, auditing, managing and consulting expertise providing audit, accounting and advisory services to local and international clients operating throughout Europe, the United States of America, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.
Michael’s extensive experience includes a portfolio that transverses a wide range of industries covering shipping, commodity traders, financial services (hedge funds, trusts, (re)insurance, fund management companies), investment companies, hospitality, real estate, petroleum products traders/brokers, advertising, automotive, manufacturing and distribution, software development and sales. Michael has an in depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, US, and Canadian GAAP, together with US and Bermuda Statutory reporting frameworks in the insurance industry.

Michael is a past member of Council of CPA Bermuda, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and a member in good standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, and is an active member of the Bermuda business community, and serves as treasurer to a local charitable organization.
