Mazars presence at XX Economic Forum in Krynica Zdrój

The most important economic event in this part of Europe – XX Economic Forum in Krynica Zdroj was held on 8-11 September. As part of this Forum a panel discussion on the theme of “Foreign investors, the driving force of innovation” under the patronage of PAIiIZ was organized on 8 September at 6:30 p.m.

The discussion was organized by three partner firms: Mazars – leader in financial & audit services, Gide Loyrette Nouel – a prestigious law firm and Gras Savoye Polska – the biggest insurance broker. The aim of the debate was to present the role of foreign investors on the Polish market in working out innovative solutions. The session took place under the patronage of the Polish Information and Foreign Investments Agency (PAIiIZ).

Guests invited to the debate focused on the difference between importing ready-made solutions and getting inspired by foreign markets to respond to the actual needs of entrepreneurs and consumers in Poland. Specific examples of innovation in the area of organization, business practices or new products such as weather insurance protecting companies against weather anomalies or modern IT projects designed for business and individual clients were discussed during the debate.

The panel was moderated by Tomasz Lis - Editor-in-Chief of "Wprost" weekly.

The panel discussion was organized within “Synergy” project, a joint initiative of Mazars, GLN and Gras Savoye in Poland which consists in the idea that three firms offering complementary services addressed to the same group of businesses decided to join their forces to propose a wide range of services to their clients, including audit, accounting, insurance, legal and tax advisory on a one stop shopping basis.
