Decio Mavale Tax Senior Manager

Décio has a degree in Business Management from ISCTEM - Instituto Superior de Ciências e Tecnologias de Moçambique.

At Forvis Mazars, he works as a Tax Consultant where he provides services to various national and international clients in tax audit assistance, support in complying with legal provisions related to foreign exchange transactions, preparation of VAT refund request processes, preparation and review of periodic/annual returns for various taxes, tax due diligence, tax assistance in company acquisition and merger operations, issuing tax opinions in domestic and international operations, planning and support in transfer pricing assessment.

He has participated in audits of business plans from a tax perspective in order to verify the correct treatment of tax aspects in these plans.

Before joining Forvis Mazars, he worked as an assistant in the Marketing department at a Consultancy where he worked on the XVIII Edition research project of the 100 largest companies in Mozambique. He also has experience in accounting where he worked with consultancy, hotel and tourism companies.
