CRR3 – CRD6 - Navigating the new regulatory landscape
On October 27th, 2021, the European Commission unveiled its legislative package for the implementation of the Basel 3 Reforms, also referred to as Basel 4.
This initiative marks the final phase in the integration of new capital standards within the EU through the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) III and the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) VI. The new rules of the adopted regulation will come into effect on January 1st, 2025.
