Balázs Szécsi joined Forvis Mazars in January 2024, as Head of the Financial Advisory business in Hungary serving as a Director. He brings nearly 20 years of transaction advisory experience primarily gained at Big4 accounting firms and on the client side at a private equity fund. Balázs is familiar with the full cycle of the M&A process, proficient on both the sell-side and the buy-side. His extensive experience includes transaction preparation, fund raising, financial due diligence, and solid management of the overall selling process of a company with the capability of early identification of critical transaction related risks, ensuring the successful completion. His cross-border transaction work extends beyond Hungary, covering the entire CEE region. His international clientele includes OTP Group, Unicredit Group, HSBC Bank Group, Bonafarm Group, Lufthansa AG, Richter Group, and several regional private equity fund managers.
