Mazars has commissioned The Economist Intelligence Unit to conduct a survey on Business and Human Rights

An alliance of organisations, of which Mazars is a part, has commissioned The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) to carry out a global programme of research to build understanding of business awareness, commitment and progress regarding human rights.

This survey is sponsored by DLA Piper, Global Business Initiative on Human Rights, Government of Norway, International Chamber of Commerce, International Organisation of Employers, IPIECA, Mazars, Telenor Group, UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and Universal Rights Group. The questionnaire was also informed by input from the United Nations Working Group on Business and Human Rights.

This survey will investigate the extent to which businesses have made a formal commitment to respecting human rights, how they are implementing that commitment through their business operations, and the extent to which the environment in which businesses operate helps or hinders their efforts to respect human rights.
