Care, resilience and transformation: a year-end message from our CEO
For people, businesses and society, 2020 has been a year like no other. The human and economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic are already devastating, and we certainly have not seen the end of it yet.
In such circumstances, financial matters clearly had to take a backseat to the absolute imperatives of protecting our people and making sure we did everything to ensure their health and safety. We also made sure we continued to deliver top quality services to our clients.
Without exception our teams around the world have shown resilience, agility and unity throughout the crisis: I commend their dedication to ensuring business continuity and serving our clients, while taking care of loved ones.
I have been inspired by the care and unity I have witnessed; the level of support and togetherness has been outstanding. On 16 December, we brought together our 26,000 Mazarians virtually to celebrate our successes and achievements, despite the global pandemic.
Mazars has become a major league player on the world scene. This is precisely what our new brand identity is about: it reflects how much we have transformed, without ever compromising our culture, our values and the uniqueness of our model and how poised we are to further grow and create value for the benefit of all our stakeholders.
As 2020 draws to a close, I take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues and clients for their support and wish them the very best for the festive season and beyond.
