Shashi Velambath Partner

As an expert in the field of Audit and Assurance, Shashi provides a range of advisory services to private & public sector clients including, Social Compliance, BSE Listings, Business Valuation and Internal Audit.

During the last 18 years, Shashi has worked with various industries within Botswana including diamond trading companies, parastatal, educational institutions and insurance underwriting companies.

He is a registered certified auditor at Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants, and has been on BICA’s Technical Committee that is involved in the implementation of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the trust audit guidelines for Attorney’s Trust Accounts. Furthermore, Shashi is as a PIE auditor with Botswana Accountancy Oversight Authority (BAOA).

Currently, as the liaison partner at the Botswana Stock Exchange, he is actively involved in identifying and listing potential clients on the stock market.
