Rob Hamill Partner, Audit & Assurance

Rob Hamill is a partner within Forvis Mazars audit & assurance team with particular responsibility for the delivery of assurance services to the firm’s insurance clients. He has over 15 years of relevant sector experience, with significant exposure in the management and co-ordination of large global insurance groups, across multi geographical locations.

Rob has worked with a number of leading domestic non-life, life and reinsurance insurers operating under differing financial reporting frameworks, including Irish GAAP, IFRS as well as other European regulatory bases. This experience has enabled Rob to develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the key risk and challenges impacting on insurers in this sector.

In addition to the provision of audit related services, Rob has vast experience in the documentation and reporting requirements under Sarbanes Oxley, the regulatory/compliance obligations for insurers and the internal audit function for regulated entities.

Rob is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
