Maxine Levy Partner – Financial Advisory & Assurance Services

Maxine is a Partner in the Firm’s financial advisory and assurance services division where she leads international M&A assignments and Statutory Israeli Audits.

She manages due diligence transactions, including both buy-side and sell-side deals, with targets and clients located globally. Maxine supports on transactions, most of which span across continents and jurisdictions.

Maxine has 16 years of experience in audit and M&A transactions. Previously, she was a manager at a Big 4 accounting firm in South Africa, where she spent 5 years in their corporate finance division. Following this, she worked for 4 years at a boutique accounting practice specializing in M&A, collaborating closely with major international litigation firms.

Maxine possesses extensive experience in corporate finance, acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, fraud investigations, breach of contract, and professional negligence. Her detailed forensic knowledge has been invaluable in financial due diligence assignments and external audit.

Since joining Mazars, she has been involved in numerous M&A transactions in the hi-tech, manufacturing, SAAS, AI, healthcare, retail, financial services, and agribusiness sectors. She also supports the Statutory Israeli audit division, primarily conducting local Israeli audits for Israeli companies with a multinational element, either as a subsidiary or holding company of a multinational corporation. Her clients range from the industrial, software, cybersecurity, gas, and oil sectors.

Maxine is a qualified Chartered Accountant in both Israel and South Africa.
