Martina Mahon Partner, Audit & Assurance

Martina is an audit and assurance partner specialising in (re)Insurance with 20+ years of experience in auditing (re)insurers. She trained and worked as part of the insurance team of an internationally based Big 4 firm prior to recently joining Forvis Mazars.

Martina has worked exclusively on financial service clients and has experience working with large multi-national/global (re)insurers. She has lead and co-ordinated a significant number of global General Insurance, Life Assurance and Reinsurance and Insurance broker client audits together with the audit of a NASDAQ listed entity under US GAAP, and provided regulatory and accounting support to clients over the course of her career to date.

Martina has strong knowledge of IFRS, local Irish GAAP, US GAAP and regulatory requirements. She is an experienced team and project leader and is focused on delivering high-quality client service.

Martina has delivered technical presentations and authored an article on FRS 103, published in Accountancy Ireland Magazine.

Martina is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
