Craig Maxwell Office Managing Partner Glasgow - Audit

Craig’s role is split between leading the Audit & Assurance team in Scotland and being an Office Managing Partner for Glasgow. As Office Managing Partner, Craig is responsible for developing the firm’s business strategy in Glasgow and overseeing its 100-strong team of professionals working across a range of services including private client, tax, accounting, outsourcing, audit and advisory.

Experience

Craig joined the firm as an Audit Partner in 2016 and has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Throughout Craig’s career, he has developed a portfolio of work ranging from smaller single entity audits through to the audit of major multinationals including, publicly listed, large international groups, and privately owned and owner-managed mid-market businesses.

As part of the Audit & Assurance team in Scotland, Craig understands the local market and the positive impact strong corporate governance and accurate financial reporting can have on a company, Craig takes great pride in building relationships with business owners and working closely with them to ensure their statutory audit and financial reporting needs are met. Through the strength of relationships Craig builds, he develops a complete understanding of their desired goals and challenges, ensuring the support and advice that they receive is robust, and timely and assists them in effectively developing their business and minimising risk.
