Relevant experience

Joanna grew up in Shenzhen and worked in KPMG Shenzhen for 4 years before joining Mazars Guangzhou in 2007. She is now head of audit and financial advisory in Guangzhou office.

With over 20 years professional experience in auditing and financial advisory, Joanna has deep knowledge in International and Chinese accounting standards, tax and business regulations as well as the practice of business operations. In addition to development and delivering sizable audit projects across Asia, she is also responsible for cross border M&A projects in Greater Bay Area.

Her areas of expertise include Manufacturing, Retail and Wholesale, Media & Advertising, and ranging from SMEs to MNCs. 

Joanna was nominated as a member of ACCA Steering Team in Southern China since 2019, she is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the European Chamber of Commerce South China Chapter since 2020. As a native Chinese and Cantonese speaker, Joanna is also fluent in English.
