Andrea Amaize Director - Risk and Sustainability Consulting

Andrea Amaize is a Director at Forvis Mazars Canada, where she leads the Risk and Sustainability Consulting practice. She helps organisations meet sustainability reporting requirements and integrate sustainability into their strategies, financing decisions and risk management frameworks. Andrea also supports risk and finance functions implement robust processes and successfully navigate their transformation journeys.

Before joining Forvis Mazars Canada, Andrea was in Forvis Mazars UK, where she worked with various financial institutions to develop enterprise-wide risk processes, comply with prudential regulations, enhance control frameworks and implement finance transformation projects. Prior to Forvis Mazars, Andrea worked in banking where she covered operational risk management, business planning, cost management and branch operations.

Andrea holds an MBA with Distinction from Loughborough University and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She also holds the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing and GARP’s Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR) qualification.
