Andrea Amaize Director - Risk and Sustainability Consulting
Andrea is a Director at Forvis Mazars Canada, where she leads the risk and sustainability consulting services. She supports financial institutions strengthen their risk management framework, implement robust regulatory reporting processes and integrate climate and environmental related risks. Andrea also advises organisations on regulatory expectations and industry standards around sustainability reporting and integrating ESG into financing decisions.
Prior to joining Forvis Mazars Canada, Andrea was based in the London office of Mazars UK, where she worked with various financial institutions on developing enterprise-wide risk processes, complying with prudential regulations, enhancing control frameworks and reviewing regulatory reporting. Prior to working at Forvis Mazars, Andrea worked in banking where her responsibilities covered operational risk management, internal controls, cost management and business planning.
Andrea holds an MBA with Distinction from Loughborough University and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She also holds the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing.
