Anica Ungerer Director - Estates & Trusts

Anica joined Forvis Mazars as an Estates Executive in 2013 and was promoted to Director in 2018.

Experience

Anica obtained her B.A. (Law) and LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch in 2001 and 2003 respectively and completed a 6-month practical diploma at the School for Legal Practice at the University of Cape Town in 2004.

In January 2005, Anica joined Fernandes & Solms Attorneys Notaries & Conveyancers as an article clerk.  On completion of her articles in 2006, she was admitted as an Attorney in the Cape Town High Court. After being admitted she decided to explore other avenues in the legal field and at the end of 2006 she proceeded to work for Standard Executors & Trustees in Cape Town, first as an Estate Officer and from 2008 as an Estates Executive.

Anica left Standard Executors & Trustees in November 2013 to join Forvis Mazars.

Anica has over 16 years of experience in dealing specifically with the administration of deceased estates.
