Dispute Matter
During 2016, we assisted counsel with an arbitration matter that involved a contractual dispute between our mining client and a contractor. We were required to defend the damages claim of approximately R22 million arising from the cancellation of the contract by our client . We completed an expert witness report for arbitration proceedings which ultimately resulted in a favourable settlement for our client.
