Mining Indaba Networking Cocktail Event

Forvis Mazars recently held its first Mining Indaba themed networking cocktail event, in collaboration with Investec at the Radisson Red Hotel. The event was a great platform to connect, network and build new relationships. It was primarily focussed on providing business people with an opportunity to network with their counterparts in the business community, as well as providing a platform for expanding business contacts.

The event started with a welcome speech by Taona Kokera, Forvis Mazars Director, where he gave a brief overview about the event and spoke about Forvis Mazars in Africa, Forvis Mazars mining team, and introduced the diplomatic community as well as Forvis Mazars partners attending from other countries. The event ended with an innovative session of ‘speed networking’, where guests were afforded an opportunity to meet and interact with each other.

It was such a great honor to host the Premier of the Western Cape Province, Alan Winde, Minister of Mines and Energy of the Republic of Senegal, and Ambassadors from Mauritania, Gabon, Niger and the Consul General of France, on our beloved continent, Africa.

On behalf of everyone at Forvis Mazars, thank you to all who assisted with the preparation and support, and to everyone who attended such a prestigious event. Your presence helped to make this event a great success and your enthusiasm and positive spirit helped make our time together both productive and fun. We hope you made some fruitful connections and we wish you all the best and hope that you continue to be engaged with Forvis Mazars.
