With support from our global Project Finance practice, we offer financial model audit services to public sector procurers of PPP projects or to seasoned private sector developers or funds. Our audit aims at providing you with assurance that the models developed for the project are free from material error. Mazars will provide assurance that your models work efficiently and effectively.
Our reviews provide true commercial assurance of transactions by tailoring our review methodology and working closely with our clients. Where possible, our preference is to focus on a replication methodology, reinforced with line-by-line checking as appropriate. We believe this provides a superior approach to assurance.
We are keen to work with our clients at the earliest stages of a transaction and our methodology can serve to provide early stage "health checks" as well as full opinion reports. Our services are typically used for:
- PPP / PFI / P3 transactions on behalf of banks, monoline insurers and shareholders;
- Corporate clients / investment banks requiring assurance on their transaction models; and
- Clients requiring Sarbanes-Oxley-style reviews of their internal modelling capability.
