The Danish Cancer Society is Denmark's largest disease-fighting organization and largest patient association. The three main areas that the society focuses on are; research, prevention, and patient support.
As one of the country's largest associations, the Danish Cancer Society represents many members and active volunteers, who are giving a voice to patients' cases with the authorities, and their voice is of great importance in the debate. The Danish Cancer Society’s goals are that fewer people get cancer, more people survive cancer and more people have a better life after cancer.
