Comparatively, external factors such as macroeconomic conditions could have also contributed to a reduction in funds raised in these listings, resulting in their poor performance.
Highlighting the need to strengthen education for local and international investors, Chee Keong said, "By improving access to information and providing more transparent disclosures, regulators and market operators can help investors make better-informed decisions, ultimately fostering greater confidence in this segment of the market."
