Mazars Partners with Project Inspire, Assists in the Due Diligence of Social Enterprises Empowering Women in AMEA
Mazars Partners with Project Inspire
Mazars volunteered and performed financial due diligence on the social enterprises competing in this year’s edition of Project Inspire. This work has contributed to the selection of 20 semi-finalists, announced by the competition on September 3rd, 2015.
Launched in 2011, Project Inspire presents 18-35 year olds with a five-minute platform to pitch their inspired idea, for the chance to win a US$25,000 grant. Today, Project Inspire is a multi-award winning initiative, and one of the most high profile CSR programs in the Asia Pacific region. For its 5th year, Project Inspire 2015 took on the theme of ‘Technology or Design for Economic Empowerment’.
Applicants were asked to demonstrate how they use design or technology as a tool in the work they are doing to enable and empower women economically throughout Asia, the Pacific, Middle East & Africa.
This partnership with Project Inspire comes after the launch of the #MazarsforGood Innovation Challenge earlier this year, a global initiative that fosters entrepreneurship within and outside its organization with innovative ideas that can impact employees, businesses and society at large. Mazars is proud to partner with such an outstanding initiative in line with its values, its Partnership Social Responsibility strategy and aiming at empowering women.
