Mazars supports the ACCA and NTUC MOU signing for Singapore’s accounting and finance skills for future jobs
Rick Chan, Head of Audit and Assurance, represented Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as the Network Panel Member in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony and dialogue session with National Trade Union Congress (NTUC) that happened on 9 March 2017.
The MOU is part of the NTUC U-Associate programme which engages core Singaporeans to impart additional skills to their existing accountancy and finance professionals. They also promote upgrading for accountancy skills training for future jobs The MOU marks a significant milestone for ACCA in Singapore in being a significant and relevant professional body partnering in government efforts to maximise the potential in local talents and workforce.
The honorary event was attended by Mr Chan Chun Sing, the current minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Secretary-General of NTUC, and Mr Patrick Tay, a member of parliament (MP) for the West Coast Group Representation Constituency and Executive Secretary of NTUC.
