Robert Busuulwa is the founder and Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars in Uganda.
Robert is a highly experienced professional in the fields of audit, taxation, and finance. As the Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars BRJ in Uganda, a member firm of the international Forvis Mazars Group, he oversees a wide range of financial services, including audit, advisory, accounting, tax, and legal services. With a career spanning over 27 years, Robert has a diverse background, having worked in both England and various African countries, gaining invaluable insights into different business environments. His expertise encompasses statutory audits, tax advisory, compliance support, and the review of business systems. Moreover, he has a strong educational foundation, including a Bachelor of Laws degree and qualifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Robert's proficiency extends beyond traditional accounting and auditing. He has a deep knowledge of taxation, having served as the tax partner for BRJ Partners. His advisory services range from helping international businesses with tax structures to assisting local enterprises with VAT and income tax matters.
